Our tactical medicine course offers knowledge and hands-on skills-based scenarios during life threatening emergencies. This training provides understanding of dangerous environments to include tactical emergency response, wilderness hazards, and everyday accidents. Participants will learn by instruction, discussion, demonstration, and proper hands-on techniques. Our course will empower you with confidence to perform immediate life saving interventions when called upon. Tac-Med places an emphasis on special considerations during an active threat situation under various stressors.
Learners will practice the following skills:
- Rapid casualty assessment
- Maintaining safety while rendering emergency care
- Bleeding control with tourniquets, wound packing gauze, & direct pressure
- Airway control
- Chest seals
- Improvised medicine
- Casualty movement
This course is to empower everyday civilians. We also offer specialty national certification courses for professionals, if needed.
