American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support is for healthcare professionals who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, transport teams, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care providers. The goal for PALS is to improve outcomes for pediatric patients by preparing healthcare providers to effectively recognize & intervene in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, & cardiopulmonary arrest.

In this course, participants will learn:
- Basic Life Support skills covered in AHA BLS
- Differentiate between respiratory distress & failure
- Differentiate between compensated & hypotensive shock
- Recognize & provide early interventions to avoid cardiopulmonary arrest
